Emile Washington is a political consultant and policy advisor. Emile has an extensive background in state and federal government, working with community advocates to build coalitions through grassroots organizing and civic engagement. Emile is the Senior Advisor for Woke Vote where he leads their partnership and development efforts. In this capacity he focuses on bridging the gap between community leaders and investing in the Activation, Long-term Engagement, Training and Development of New Organizers, and mobilization of historically disengaged voters of color. He is the Co-Founder of Artists & Athletes United for Social change where they are connecting the brightest minds in politics with the biggest names in sports and entertainment to make tomorrow’s world a better place. His background in government, grassroots organizing, & the entertainment industry is a unique combination of experiences that enable him to connect key power players with the right causes. 
 
His work in his home State of Louisiana, as the Director of Student and Youth Leadership Development under the former Governor of Louisiana, Kathleen Blanco cultivated his skills of intergenerational partnerships. In this role, he promoted the policy agenda for Solutions To Poverty (SToP) movement, which focused on eradicating poverty through policy development and implementation.
